When I test against some servers, I get up to 20Mb/sec!

I read in the paper that comcast has made it so that if you have any p2p program going (limewire, bittorrent, emule, etc.) it allows downloads but disables any uploads. So basically, if everyone had comcast or if other providers pick up on this, p2p is done altogether.

There has been a lot of news about Comcast interfering with bit torrent but I haven’t heard anything credible about other file sharing networks.
Rest assured that any tactics like this that ISP’s try will be countered by p2p developers and also challenged in court. There is too much legitimate bit torrent traffic to be able to label it as criminal.
