This is one of the most politicaly slanted headlines that I’ve seen from Reuters:

    Why is it slanted?

    Fact:
It is the Democrat’s PLAN to boost the economy.

There was a competing Republican plan too.
The plan had at is purpose to boost the economy. SO, how is this misleading?

How else would you phrase it?

Your political leanings are very transparent to me. Not that that is a bad thing. I love it!

It’s slanted because there’s no evidence that either party’s plan will boost the economy. They both claim that theirs is designed to do that. this headline clearly implies that the democrats plan will be the one to boost the economy and that the Republicans are actively trying to block it. It leads readers to believe that the Republicans do not want to boost the economy.

I would rephrase it to say, “Republicans block the democrat economical development plan in favor of their own”. It’s factual and bipartisan.
