I'm experimenting with the Windows CE based Winterm DT375. Right now, I'm using it as a family calendar in the kitchen and to control other devices in the house.

Sweet! We have a giant whiteboard in the kitchen to schedule events, appointments, meals etc…. How are you doing that? What kind of monitor? And what do you mean “control” things in the house? X10 type stuff? Is it touch screen I take it? I have a bajillion questions about this!

Yea, we have a big whiteboard in the kitchen, too. That’s what I’m trying to replace. This is just one more step in my diabolical plan to get the whole family using google calendars for everything.

I’m playing with some tools at http://www.dt375.com/ but I’m toying with writing my own software for it, too.

It’s touch screen running Windows CD. It RDP’s into a Windows 2003 R2 terminal server in the basement. I also have a bar code reader for it so you know what kind of fun that’s gonna be! :D

I should have went into more details but I was heading to bed as I posted it.

    I knew it!!

He’s been telling me how cool the calendars were on Google. Almost seemed like a sales pitch.

I know what you’re up to now…Your diabolical plot and continuous scheming won’t fool me anymore!

I’m going to have to stop by and see that new toy too…

    Dave? Is that you?
